From December 17th to 19th, 2024, the Malaysia Vending Machine and New Retail Industry Expo was held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. Organized by the Guangdong Import and Export Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Malaysia Business Innovation Association, the event has become a cornerstone for Southeast Asia’s vending machine and new retail sectors. This year’s expo attracted over 200 exhibitors and thousands of attendees, showcasing innovations in smart vending technology and exploring the future of retail.

The theme of the event, “Smart Technology Driving Future Retail,” underscored the growing role of automation and digital solutions in reshaping the retail industry.
